Creature and lore NPC reference cards

Keep a creature's core scores, defenses, movement, saves, traits, and action names beside your dice. A lore NPC can print as a player-facing handout plus a separate mechanical reference when statistics are available, with both linked to the same campaign entry.

Add an optional QR link when a card should lead back to ScryRPG. A player can return to the live item, spell, creature, NPC, or encounter they are allowed to see. The printed card never turns GM-only content into public content.

Compact or room to read

Choose poker-size cards for hands and sleeves, or larger reference cards and the optional Full Rules layout when longer text needs breathing room.

Paper or digital file

Lay cards out on Letter or A4 paper, save the deck as a PDF, or take individual faces as PNG images or a ZIP.

Fronts, backs, and long rules

Print fronts only or arrange paired backs. Choose Full Rules when long content should continue onto additional numbered faces rather than disappear.

Printers, paper, and margins vary. ScryRPG includes a calibration sheet, but the sensible first step is still one test page before you print the whole deck.

Printable RPG cards, in plain language.

What can I turn into a printable RPG card?

ScryRPG makes cards for items, creatures, lore NPCs, spells and abilities, and encounter overviews. Shops, loot sets, encounters, and authorized inventory can also send their contents to one complete card deck.

Can I make printable D&D item cards?

Yes. Weapons, armor, magic items, consumables, and other D&D 5e items can become printable cards with their useful rules and statistics. You can create your own items or start from content you have added to your campaign.

Do monster and NPC cards include full stat blocks?

Table Reference creature cards keep core scores, defenses, movement, saves, senses, and compact trait and action names close at hand, with a QR link back to the authorized full entry. Choose Full Rules when you want the complete longer text. A lore NPC always offers its player-facing identity and revealed lore as a handout; when authorized creature statistics are available, its mechanical reference is a separate card rather than the handout's reverse.

Can I print spell and ability cards?

Yes. Supported D&D and Pathfinder spells and Draw Steel hero abilities can become cards with the rules and game details players need at the table.

Can I print a whole encounter, shop, loot set, or inventory?

Yes. A complete encounter set can include its overview, authorized unique creatures, and attached loot. Shops, loot sets, and inventories add their authorized item contents as cards. The source container controls what belongs in the set.

Are card printing and export free?

Yes. Creating cards, printing them, exporting them, and including optional QR links are available on every plan. Plans differ in how many reusable card decks you can save to your account.

What do the optional QR links do?

A QR link can return an authorized viewer to the live entry in ScryRPG. The link does not make private content public, and GM-only material stays behind the same access rules as the campaign.

Which card sizes and files can I use?

Choose compact poker cards or larger reference cards, then lay them out on Letter or A4 paper. You can use browser print, save a PDF, or export PNG faces and a ZIP of the deck.

How many card decks can I save?

Free saves 1 reusable deck; Player saves 10 reusable decks; GM saves unlimited decks; Patron saves unlimited decks. Patron adds a managed custom card back for a party. Printing and export remain available even when you do not save another deck.

Should I print a test sheet first?

Yes. Printers, paper, and margins vary. ScryRPG provides Letter and A4 layouts plus a calibration sheet, but one test sheet helps you check the size, crop marks, and any optional QR link before making the full deck.
