Subscription Guide
Understand ScryRPG pricing, monthly AI usage, and shared table mechanics.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Overview
ScryRPG plans are built around AI capacity, shared table mechanics, and a small number of durable workspace benefits, not manual inventory or printing quotas. Free users can start with the looking glass, and paid plans include more monthly AI usage, more active campaign space, saved card decks, and table sponsorship.
Where to check current plan details
The public Pricing page and the in-app Settings > Subscription screen show current plan details.
What Stays Stable
- Core campaign, party, character, inventory, shop, loot, lore, Discord, and marketplace workflows remain available.
- Your familiar remains part of ScryRPG, not a separate product.
- You can check current usage in the web app or with
/usagein Discord. - Existing paid users and discounts keep the grandfathering rules shown during billing.
Monthly AI Usage
Every plan includes a monthly AI usage allowance, and higher plans include more. Everything AI counts toward it: your familiar, imports, session recordings and AI art. You see your usage as a percentage of your monthly allowance.
Free plans reset on the 1st of each month. Paid plans reset each month on your billing date.Table Mechanics
Paid plans include shared table mechanics:
All for One
Paid users can contribute a table token during a billing cycle. When enough party members contribute, the party receives shared table benefits for that cycle.
One for All
Patrons can sponsor one party and share their AI usage with its members. Part of it is always kept for the Patron.
Note
These replace the older subscription program names. If you see older wording anywhere, the in-app subscription screen shows your current plan details.
Inventory, Shops, and Loot
Manual inventory changes do not count toward your AI usage. Plan limits focus on active campaign space and larger shared table workflows where limits are needed.
For day-to-day use:
- You can still view inventory, browse shops, and check the party’s characters and holdings without counting toward your AI usage.
- Manual item creation does not count toward your AI usage.
- AI-driven creation, imports, image generation, and other AI work count toward your monthly AI usage.
- The app shows the current limit before a capped action is blocked.
Printable Card Benefits
Creating cards, using QR links, printing, and exporting PDF/PNG/ZIP are available on every plan. Plans differ only in how many reusable card decks you can save to your account and whether you can use a managed custom party back:
| Plan | Saved card decks | Custom party back |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | No |
| Player | 10 | No |
| Game Master | Unlimited | No |
| Patron | Unlimited | Yes |
If you downgrade while above the new saved-deck limit, existing decks remain available to open, edit, print, export, and delete. You cannot save another deck or copy until you are below the limit or upgrade. A Patron Party back choice becomes dormant while unavailable and output safely falls back to Auto. It can be restored after re-upgrading only if the party still has that same managed image; the party GM can also clear the saved image without exposing its URL.
These are account benefits. All for One and One for All do not change saved-deck capacity or enable custom backs for another account.
See the Printable RPG Cards: Card Studio Guide for the complete workflow, including local and saved decks, back modes, QR links, preflight, printing, and exports.

FAQ
Do normal inventory changes count toward AI usage?
No. Manual inventory actions, manual item creation, and ordinary party management do not count toward your AI usage. Only AI work does.
Do imports count toward AI usage?
Yes. Imports read your files with AI, so they count toward your monthly AI usage. Session recordings count too. See the Import Guide.
Is the assistant required?
No. Inventory, shops, loot, party management, lore, and Discord workflows continue to work without your familiar. Your familiar is an additional way to ask questions and take actions.
What happened to the old subscription programs?
They are replaced by monthly AI usage, All for One, and One for All.
